June 27
9:36 p.m.: A welfare check was requested on a Briley Township resident; the female subject was found to be fine. Units cleared without incident.
11:21 p.m.: A welfare check was requested on a female of Briley Township; contact was made and subject was found to be fine.
June 28
12:17 p.m.: During a routine traffic stop on County Road 459 a female from Hillman was cited for driving while license suspended.
9 p.m.: Lewiston Fire Department responded to a low hanging wire on Buttles Rd. The cable TV wire was removed.
June 29
8:19 p.m.: Deputies responded to a dispute in Hillman Township; the dispute was verbal. Parties were separated and deputies cleared without incident.
June 30
2:38 a.m.: A call came into the dispatch center to report a vehicle vs deer accident on Meridian Line Rd in Vienna Township; no one was injured. A deputy responded to take the report.
12:19 p.m.: A welfare check was requested for a female on County Road 459. The subject was located and was found to be fine.
6:57 p.m.: Officers responded to a dispute between family members on S County Rd 489. A 54-year-old male from Lewiston was arrested for domestic violence.
July 1
12:30 a.m.: Officers responded to a commercial burglar alarm in Lewiston. The building was found to be secure.
12:07 p.m.: While on routine patrol in Montmorency Township deputies initiated a traffic stop; the vehicle was found to have an expired plate and no insurance; the driver was cited and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
12:24 p.m.: A deputy initiated a traffic stop in Albert Township, the driver was found to be driving on a revoked license, he was cited.
3:36 p.m.: A welfare check on some dogs in Albert Township was requested, deputies responded to the scene, the dogs were fine.
July 2
9:18 a.m.: Deputies responded to a dog at large that killed the caller’s chickens, they located the dog and owner. The owner was cited, and stated he would pay for the chickens.
1:07 p.m.: A DNR officer responded to an ORV complaint in Briley Township.
2:56 p.m.: A tree took down some lines in Albert Township, Lewiston Fire responded to the scene along with PIE&G.
4:55 p.m.: A call came in referencing livestock and multiple other animals at a campground in Rust Township; the owner was contacted and the animals were fine.
7:45 p.m.: While on routine patrol, deputies assisted in an arrest along with DNR officers of a male subject in Albert Township. The subject was arrested for OWI and lodged in Alpena County Jail. All units cleared without incident.
7:59 p.m.: While on routine patrol in Albert Township; a deputy initiated a traffic stop. The driver was found to be driving with no security and cited.
10:03 p.m.: An officer responded to a commercial burglar alarm in Hillman Township; the building was found to be secure and the deputy cleared without incident.
July 3
11:38 a.m.: An assault that occurred last night was reported to dispatch, deputies responded to the scene to take the report, the investigation is ongoing at this time.
1:32 p.m.: Marine patrol responded to a complaint from a concerned citizen about the safety of swimmers on Avalon Lake; there were subjects parasailing from the beach off Murray St.
1:49 p.m.: A hit and run was reported in Briley Township; a witness got the plate of the vehicle that left the scene. Deputies went to subject’s residence to speak with him referencing the complaint.
5:26 p.m.: An erratic driver was called in to dispatch, deputies were advised. Vehicle was located and a traffic stop was initiated into Alpena County.
8:07 p.m.: Deputies responded to a verbal dispute in Albert Township; parties were separated and officers cleared without incident.
