July 19

11:01 p.m. Deputies responded to a residential burglar alarm in Albert Township. The residence was found to be secure.

July 20

12:18 p.m. A deputy responded to the Rite Aid in Lewiston for a dispute between 2 males over the use of the bottle return machines. The investigation is ongoing.

1:02 p.m. A DNR Officer responded to Mantz St in Lewiston for a report of dirt bikes driving around at high rates of speeds and the riders not wearing helmets.

5:30 p.m. An officer was requested for a welfare check of an elderly male in Hillman Township. The male subject was at his cabin and everything was ok.

8:01 p.m. A DNR Officer responded to a complaint of young kids riding dirt bikes on Olsen St in Lewiston. The subjects were located and advised of the laws for riding dirt bikes.

July 21

7:29 a.m.: A deputy responded to a vehicle vs bear accident on County Rd 624. No one was injured and the bear ran off.

8:26 a.m.: During a traffic stop on M-32 in Rust Township a 34-year-old female from Alpena was arrested operating under the influence of drugs and driving while license revoked. She was lodged.

10:41 a.m.: A mail carrier was bitten by a dog on S. Airport Rd. An officer responded and took the report.

3:31 p.m. Tri Township Fire Dept and a deputy responded to a fire in the ditch on County Rd 624. The fire was put out by a passerby and then the area was watered down by the fire department when they arrived.

July 22

7:03 a.m.: Dispatch received a report of residents with no power on Jackpine Trail in Briley Township. PIE&G was contacted to restore the power.

12:09 p.m. A DNR Officer responded to a report of a bunch of deer legs found on Old State Rd in Vienna Township. The deer legs appear to be freshly cut off. The investigation is ongoing.

6:05 p.m. An accident involving a deer was called into MCSO on M-33 north, the driver was not injured. A Deputy responded to the scene and took the report.

6:52 p.m. A resident in Loud Township called to report a tree had fallen on three primary electrical lines and the caller was out of power; Tri Township Fire responded to the scene along with PIE&G. All units cleared without incident.

July 23

9:43 a.m.: Tri Township Fire Dept responded to a dumpster fire on West St in Briley Township. The fire was put out.

12:24 p.m. A Deputy and Tri Township EMS responded to an ATV accident on Stevens Springs Rd. A male subject was transported to the hospital for minor injuries.

July 24

9:55 a.m.: PIE&G was advised of a tree on a power line near Blue Bird Trail in Lewiston.

10:45 a.m.: Deputies and Tri Township EMS responded to a one vehicle rollover on M-32 near KB Farms Rd. No one was injured and all units cleared at 11:28.

7:43 p.m. A resident of Albert Township called to report ATV’s spinning gravel in the Bowling Alley parking lot. An officer responded but was unable to locate the ATV’s.

July 25

8:24 a.m.: Deputies responded to Freddie’s Market for a male that was not wanted at the store. The subject had left the store, but officers were able to locate him. The subject was given a trespass warning.

10:18 a.m.: A deputy responded to a complaint of damage to a vehicle on Parker Rd. The investigation is still ongoing.
