Local health officials in Alpena County encourage people who want to get vaccinated against COVID-19 to take advantage of a free, walk-in clinic today in the gymnasium at Alpena Community College.

Alpena County Emergency Services Coordinator Mark Hall says the clinic is intended for people 16 to 18 years old, but, because of the amount of Pfizer vaccine available, older people can participate, too.

Hall said the clinic runs until 3 p.m. today. People should bring a driver’s license or other identification with them.
