HARRISVILLE — A Mikado woman accused of stealing nearly $200,000 from an elderly adult was arrested in Alcona County on Tuesday.

Lori Blake, 61, was charged with embezzlement from a vulnerable adult following a 10-month investigation by the Alcona County Sheriff’s Office. Blake is accused of stealing more than $193,000 from an older-adult relative between October 2013 and September 2019.

Blake was arraigned in the 81st District Court in Harrisville and released on a $50,000 personal bond.

If convicted, she could be sentenced to up to 20 years in prison.
