May 18th

10:48 a.m. A call came into dispatch advising there was a tree down across W Gaylanta Lake Rd. The Road Commission was advised.

2:31 p.m. A male subject came into the lobby to report threats made to his family members. An officer spoke with the man and they came to a solution to the problem.

7:19 p.m. A report was made to MCSO of an intoxicated male at the Elizabeth St apartments. MSCO Deputies responded and male was advised to stay in his apartment and not to bother his neighbors.

8:28 p.m. A report was made to MCSO of a down tree on S. Airport Rd in Atlanta. Montmorency County Road Commission was contacted.

May 20

11:30 a.m. Dispatch was advised of a motorcycle accident on M32 near McCormick Lake Rd in Vienna Township. Law enforcement and EMS were dispatched to the scene. A 52-year-old male was transported to the hospital to be evaluated. All clear at 12:08 p.m..

7:46 p.m. Deputies took into custody a 35-year-old male with a MCSO warrant. He was lodged.

May 21

10:58 a.m. A deputy responded to a dispute on Clark St in Hillman Township. Parties were separated and advised it is a civil issue.

1:49 p.m. Tri Township Fire Dept and Atlanta DNR Fire Dept responded to a wildland fire on M-32 in Briley Township. All units cleared at 2:44 p.m..

8:45 p.m. Dispatch was advised of a possible breaking and entering at a residence in Hillman Township. A deputy responded to investigate and is still ongoing.

May 22

11:57 a.m. A passerby called to report that a male teen was riding his ATV without a helmet in the Vienna area, an officer responded but was unable to locate the ATV.

12:41 p.m. A residential burglar alarm was reported by an alarm company, two officers responded to find the plumbing and heating company that the homeowner had hired was there. All units cleared without incident.

2:06 p.m. A Hillman resident called to report a suspicious male on a bicycle; all units were advised to BOL.

6:36 p.m. A Montmorency Township resident called in report of a civil dispute; all units responded, and parties were separated.

6:46 p.m. Briley Township resident called in report of ATV on private property. Michigan DNR responded.

6:50 p.m. A report of a vehicle striking a mailbox in a residential area on Airport Rd in Avery Township. MCSO Deputy responded and investigation is ongoing.

9:03 p.m. A car/deer accident was reported on Farrier Rd near Cohoon, no injuries were reported.

May 23

00:39 a.m. A report of a fight at the Bull Pen in Atlanta. MCSO Deputies responded and all parties were instructed to leave and go to their residence.

00:58 a.m. A report of a noise disturbance on CO RD 628 in Hillman Township. MCSO Deputy responded and instructed the homeowner to end the party.

11:35 a.m. DNR initiated a traffic stop in Hillman Township, the driver was found to be driving on a suspended license, he was given a citation and an appearance date. Officer cleared without incident.

12:12 p.m. An erratic driver was called in from an adjoining agency, MSP Trooper located the vehicle, initiated a stop and spoke with the driver. The Trooper cleared without incident.

2:13 p.m. An MCSO officer while on routine patrol came upon a vehicle on the side of the road, the officer stopped to assist the driver, and cleared without incident.

5:22 p.m. A welfare check was called in by a friend, an officer responded to find the subject fine, she stated she would call her friend. The officer cleared without incident.

6:36 p.m. Montmorency Township resident reported 4 wheelers running up and down Rush Lake Rd area with no helmets. MI DNR responded to the area.

7:04 p.m. Briley Township resident called to report 4 wheelers driven by younger children with no helmets. MCSO Deputy responded and unable to locate any 4 wheelers in the area.

8:42 p.m. A report was made that a Jeep Cherokee was in the ditch on Morrow Rd in Montmorency Township. MCSO Deputy responded and Jeep was gone from the scene.

9:39 p.m. A report of car/deer accident on Morrow Rd in Montmorency Township. MCSO Deputy responded and no injuries were reported.

May 24

12:20 a.m. A noise complaint was reported to MCSO in Loud Township near Green Valley Trail. MCSO Deputy responded and found several people at a cabin having a bonfire. They were instructed not to disturb the neighbors.

6:16 a.m. An off-duty officer called to report a truck in the ditch in Loud Township; deputies and an MSP Trooper all responded to the scene along with Tri Township Fire Department, the driver was found to be uninjured but intoxicated. He was taken into custody and lodged.

4:06 p.m. A call was made to the dispatch center referencing a vehicle that had hit the electric pole in the parking lot of a business in Atlanta. Law enforcement and

Presque Isle Electric responded to the scene.

4:12 p.m. A resident of Albert Township called to report a line down across her road and she had no power. Albert Township Fire Department along with Presque Isle Electric responded to the scene.
