May 11

8:56 p.m. Dispatch was advised of a domestic dispute on Doty St in Briley Township. The male subject left the scene and deputies were able to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle described that the subject left in. After investigating, a 42-year-old male was taken into custody for domestic violence. He was lodged.

May 12

2:22 p.m. Deputies responded to a verbal dispute on Grosinsky Rd in Rust Township. The parties were separated.

May 13

9:55 a.m. Dispatch was advised of an erratic driver on M-32 just East of Atlanta. A deputy responded to look for the vehicle described but was unable to locate.

10:11 a.m. A report was made of smoke in the woods in Loud Township, Tri Township Fire, Atlanta DNR, and law enforcement officers all responded to the scene. It was found to be a resident burning household items. The fire was put out by the fire department and the subject was issued a citation for burning during a burning ban.

2:14 p.m. A resident of Rust Township called to report that he was having an issue with a subject following him and driving erratically. An officer responded and spoke with both subjects and advised them to stay away from each other. Officer cleared without incident.

10:58 p.m. MCSO was contacted by another jurisdiction for a 31-year-old female with a MCSO warrant. MSP transported the female to the MCSO jail, and she was lodged.

May 14

7:11 a.m. A resident of Albert Township called to report he believed the deck of a residence across the lake was on fire. Lewiston Fire and EMS along with law enforcement responded, it was found to be a campfire. All units cleared without incident.

9:01 a.m. A seasonal resident of Briley Township called to report that when they got to their cabin it was found to have been broken into. A chainsaw was stolen along with some miscellaneous items. Investigation is ongoing.

6:09 p.m. Dispatch received a call about a suspicious vehicle on the caller’s property that should not be there. Deputies were advised and responded to investigate. After a few min, the man called back stating he now knows who the vehicle belongs to and all is okay. No response needed. All units advised to disregard.

May 15

10:27 p.m. Dispatch was advised of traffic cones being moved into the roadway on M-32 in Briley Township. The DNR officer that took the complaint in person drove through the area and found 1 cone in the roadway. It was moved and she did not see anyone around the area.

10:38 p.m. A deputy initiated a traffic stop on Montmorency St near Bourn St in Albert Township. It was found the driver of the vehicle did not have insurance and his vehicle was towed.

May 16

1:43 p.m. Dispatch was advised of a dirt bike accident on Soden Rd in Albert Township. Law enforcement, DNR, fire and EMS responded. No injuries were reported.

6:33 p.m. Deputies assisted a female whose vehicle ran out of gas on Co Rd 612 near Meridian Line Rd in Albert Township.

6:44 p.m. Dispatch was advised of a man outside the Lewiston Marathon harassing people. Deputies responded and investigated. The man was given a warning for trespassing.
