ALPENA — Nine more Alpena County residents and three more Presque Isle County residents have tested positive for coronavirus infection, according to figures released by District Health Department No. 4.

That brings the total number of positive cases in those counties to 49 and nine, respectively.

Infection of Alcona County and Montmorency County residents remain at four and five, respectively, according to local health departments.

One person in Alpena County has died.

Statewide, 35,291 cases and 2,877 deaths have been reported.
