MICHIGAN STATE

POLICE-ALPENA POST

The Michigan State Police-Alpena Post handled 93 calls for service during the week Feb. 9 to 15. The following is a breakdown of some of the calls for service:

∫ Misdemeanor arrests for vehicle violations: 5

∫Operating While Intoxicated: 3

∫ Traffic crashes: 22

∫ 6 fugitives were arrested satisfying 10 warrants.

∫ One traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a person for possession of methamphetamine and resist and obstruct an officer.
