Jan. 21

1:47 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a residential fire alarm on Pleasant Valley Rd in Hillman Township. The homeowner was contacted and advised it was a false alarm.

4:40 p.m.: MCSO was advised of a runaway juvenile on M-32 in Rust Township. Deputies and a DNR officer responded to investigate and to look for juvenile. The teenager was found and transported back home.

6:48 p.m.: Dispatch was advised on a domestic dispute on Pineview Ct in the Village of Hillman. Deputies responded to investigate. The parties were separated.

8:17 p.m.: Deputies returned to Pineview Ct in the Village of Hillman for another domestic dispute. The female left before law enforcement arrival. This investigation is ongoing.

Jan. 22

4:39 p.m.: A deputy responded to a residence for continued investigation. A 49-year-old female was taken into custody for domestic violence. She was lodged.

6:03 p.m.: A deputy was requested to a residence on Park Dr for a welfare check. He found everything to be OK and the caller was notified.

Jan. 23

12:26 a.m.: A MCSO Deputy initiated a routine traffic stop on Co Rd 451 near Co Rd 452 in Montmorency Township. A 51-year-old male was taken into custody for OWI. He was lodged.

6:46 p.m.: A commercial burglar alarm was reported on Salling Ave in Albert Township. A trooper responded and found building secure.

9:09 p.m.: A report of a car sliding off the road on M-32 striking two mailboxes. No injuries were reported, and the driver agreed to repair the mailboxes.

10:36 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a snowmobile accident in Montmorency Township on the trail just off Sportmans Dam Rd. Tri-township Fire/EMS and MCSO Deputies responded. Upon arrival, responders found 2 individuals and no injuries.

Jan. 24

9:29 a.m.: A deputy transported a 60-year-old male from court to MCSO jail. He was lodged.

10:46 a.m.: A deputy transported a 58-year-old female from court to MCSO jail. She was lodged.

4:39 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a verbal dispute on Co Rd 612 in Albert Township. Deputies and a DNR officer responded to investigate. The parties were separated.

7:19 p.m.: Presque Isle Co deputies transported a 53-year-old with a PI Co warrant to MCSO jail to be lodged.

8:47 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a residential panic alarm on McArthur Rd in Briley Township. A deputy responded to investigate. Everything was found to be okay.

11:11 p.m.: Dispatched was advised of a possible snowmobile accident at the intersection of M-32 and Metzger Rd in Briley Township. Deputies responded and found there was no accident. A snowmobile was stuck. The deputies assisted in getting the snowmobile out.

Jan. 25

10:13 a.m.: A single vehicle was found unattended off the roadway on Fleming Rd in Albert Township. A deputy responded and the owner returned to the vehicle while the deputy was there. A citation was issued.

2:24 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a 2-vehicle collision on private property near Huff Rd near the spectator area for the Snow Drift Rally. A deputy spoke with the subject and will be taking care of the issue himself with his insurance.

Jan. 26

12:16 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a suspicious vehicle on Second St in the Village of Hillman. A trooper checked the area but was unable to locate the vehicle.

5:56 p.m.: A deputy responded to a single vehicle in the ditch on Pleasant Valley Rd near Shields Rd in Hillman Township. No injuries were reported and it appeared the driver just missed the driveway. The vehicle was pulled out of the ditch.

10:58 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of an intoxicated male being destructive at a residence on Livingston St in the Village of Hillman. Deputies responded to investigate. A 37-year-old male was taken into custody for domestic violence. He was lodged.
