Oct. 28

8:23 p.m.: Dispatch was contacted by another jurisdiction to pick up a 25-year-old male with a warrant out of MCSO. A MCSO deputy transported the male from Ogemaw Co jail to Montmorency Co jail. He was lodged.

Oct. 30

6:30 a.m.: A Village of Hillman resident called to request a welfare check on a family member, an officer responded, and the subject was found to be fine, officer cleared without incident.

7:03 a.m.: A Vienna Township resident called to report a dog in his yard, officers responded and spoke with the caller.

10:41 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of an erratic driver on M-32 traveling westbound. All units were advised but no one in the area to intercept. The info was given to Otsego Co.

9:34 p.m.: A deputy took into custody a 42-year-old male with a MCSO warrant. He was lodged.

Oct. 31

8:10 a.m.: A one vehicle slide off was reported; no injury, an officer responded to take the report and cleared without incident

8:35 a.m.: An alarm company called in a commercial burglar alarm at a financial institute in Hillman Township; it was found to be a false alarm, officers were advised.

7:45 p.m.: A single vehicle rollover accident reported on Buttles Rd south of M-32. MCSO, Michigan State Police and Lewiston Fire/EMS responded. No one was transported to the hospital.

8:19 p.m.: Several 911 calls were made to MCSO dispatch regarding several cars sliding off the road and unable to make it up the hill on M-32 & County Rd 491. MCSO deputies, Michigan State Police and MDOT responded. No injuries were reported and MDOT salted road to keep traffic flowing.

8:50 p.m.: MCSO received a report of a tree across the road on County Rd 487 just south of 4 corners/M-32. Tri Township Fire and Montmorency Road Commission responded. Tree was removed and road was opened.

9:28 p.m.: Female called to report she slid off the road in her minivan just west of Meridian Line Rd on M-32. No injuries were reported, and she was able to get out prior to emergency services arrival.

9:54 p.m.: Report was made that tree across the road on County Rd 489 north of County Rd 624 near the dirt. 2nd report of a tree across the road on County Rd 612 near Granholm Rd, 3rd report of a tree across the road on County Rd 612 near Avery lake Rd. Albert Township Fire responded to all removed the trees and roads were reopened.

9:54 p.m.: Power line down was reported in the Village of Hillman. Hillman Fire and Alpena Power responded. Crews were working on restoring power.

10:08 p.m.: Report of power outage from S Airport Rd to County Rd 487. Also, a tree across the power line on Baker just south of M-32. PIE & G crews were working on restoring power.

10:44 p.m.: Power outage reported on County Rd 624. PIE & G crews working on restoring power.

10:56 p.m.: Power outage reported on Avalon Lake Rd Hillman. PIE & G crews working on restoring power.

10:58 p.m.: Power outage on Delores St in Atlanta. PIE & G crews working on restoring power.

11:07 p.m.: Report of transformer on fire on Elizabeth St in Hillman. Hillman Fire and Alpena Power responded.

11:08 p.m.: Power outage reported on Fleming & Cobb Rd area and Pleasant View & Fleming intersection fuse was blown. PIE & G notified.

11:21 p.m.: Report of a tree across the road on Rust Road. Hillman Fire responded and road was reopened.

Nov. 1

12:19 a.m.: A report of a power line on fire on Rea Rd. Hillman Fire and PIE & G responded.

12:37 a.m.: A report of a tree down on Parland Ave near Jerome St. Tri-Township Fire responded; road was opened enough to pass.

7:50 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a tree blocking the Northbound lane on Co Rd 451 near Co Rd 452 in Hillman Township. The road commission was advised.

8:50 a.m.: MCSO was advised of a vehicle in the ditch on Co Rd 624 near Hemak Trail in Hillman Township. A deputy responded and no injuries were reported. A tow truck pulled the vehicle out.

11:23 a.m.: A deputy took into custody and transported a 30-year-old male from the courthouse to MCSO jail. He was lodged.

5:14 p.m.: A conservation officer took into custody an 18-year-old Lewiston male with a warrant. He was lodged.

9:41 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a residential burglar alarm on Co Rd 612 in Albert Township. Deputies responded to investigate. The house was found empty and did not appear to be tampered with. The door was re-secured.

Nov. 2

3:37 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a residential burglar alarm on Beltz Rd in Briley Township. Deputies responded to investigate. All was found to be as it should be.

12:34 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a 2-vehicle accident at the intersection of M-33 N and Gerber Rd in Briley Township. A deputy responded and no injuries were reported.

11:51 p.m.: During a traffic stop on Co Rd 612 in Albert Township a 40-year-old female from Lewiston was arrested for operating while intoxicated. She was lodged.

Nov. 3

6:40 p.m.: MCSO was advised of an erratic driver on M-32 traveling East near Manier Rd. A deputy responded and initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle described. All was found to be okay.
