Andrea Norman, left, and Remington Rice watch some of the large waves crash over the banks at Bay View Park on Friday. The National Weather Service issued a lakeshore flood advisory from 8 a.m. Friday until 2 a.m. today. There were many people who were at the lakeside parks in Alpena taking pictures and videos of the large waves and the spray they produced when crashing onto shore.
