Aug. 28

8:54 a.m.: MidMichigan Medical Center-Alpena ER contacted MCSO about an assault that needed to be investigated. Deputies responded to investigate the residence and surrounding area where it was said to take place. A 29-year-old male was taken into custody. He was lodged.

11:35 a.m.: A 58-year-old male turned himself in on a warrant. He was lodged.

1:15 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a tree down across Lockwood Lake Rd near M-33 S in Loud Township. The road commission was advised.

6:18 p.m.: A trooper contacted MCSO about a possible B&E of vehicles in the Village of Hillman. MCSO contacted the person who called to get more information. Deputies responded to investigate. A 22-year-old male and a 19-year-old female were taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing.

8:21 p.m.: MCSO deputies responded to a residence on Co Rd 459 in Montmorency Township for a warrant pick up. A 55-year-old female was taken into custody for her warrant. She was lodged.

11:39 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a verbal dispute on Doty St in Briley Township. Deputies responded to investigate. It was found to be a verbal argument only and both parties were advised to stay in their own apartments for the night.

Aug. 29

6:15 p.m.: MCSO was advised of an ORV accident near the Rush Lake subdivision in Hillman Township. Deputies and EMS responded. A male and female were transported to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

8:42 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of an erratic driver on M-32 eastbound near M-33 S in Avery Township. No units were in the area to intercept.

Aug. 30

8:26 a.m.: A deputy did a welfare check at the Jerome Street Apartments. Everything was OK.

4:46 p.m.: Lewiston Fire and PIE&G responded to a down power line on Buttles Road. All units cleared at 5:39 p.m.:.

5:25 p.m.: During a traffic stop on M-33 a State Trooper arrested a 22-year-old female from Port Huron for driving without security.

7:56 p.m.: A car/deer accident was reported on Montmorency St in Albert Township. MCSO deputies responded, deer was deceased, and no injuries were reported.

9:49 p.m.: A report came into MCSO about a female on the side of the road on Pleasant Valley Rd just west of Hillman. MCSO deputies responded and were not able to locate the female.

11:54 p.m.: Commercial fire alarm was reported to MCSO in Albert Township. MCSO Deputies responded and found the building secure.

Aug. 31

12:44 a.m.: A report came into MCSO that an Albert Township resident heard loud noises near their home. MCSO deputies responded, searched area and were unable to locate where the noise came from cleared without incident.

6:23 a.m.: A deputy responded to an alarm at the El-Bow Inn. It was found to be a false alarm, everything was secure.

1:55 p.m.: Dispatch received a complaint of ORVs speeding and tearing up Soden Rd in Albert Township. ORV patrol checked the area and did speak with 6 ORV riders and will continue to patrol the area.

8:17 p.m.: Briley Township resident called in to report his two Britney dogs missing. Owner was able to find them with no more reports coming into MCSO.

8:2 5p.m.: Erratic driver was reported on M32 heading east Kellyville Rd area. All units were advised and unable to locate vehicle.

9:32 p.m.: Hillman Township resident reported hearing loud explosion like noises on County Rd 459. MCSO deputies responded to area and were unable to locate the noise.

9:35 p.m.: Noise complaint in Briley Township was made on Beltz Rd. MCSO deputies responded found that there was a wedding reception in progress. MCSO deputies advised party to keep music down.

9:38 p.m.: Albert Township resident reported dogs barking for two hours. MCSO deputy responded to the area and was not able to locate any barking dogs.

10:39 p.m.: Hillman resident reported missing medication and money from a vehicle. MCSO deputy responded. This is an ongoing investigation.

11:12 p.m.: Albert Township called MCSO with noise complaint on Fleming Rd. MCSO Deputy and Michigan State Police responded. Party was advised to turn music down by midnight.

Sept. 1

11:43 a.m.: Dispatched received an ORV complaint on Nickerson Valley Rd, kids were riding without wearing a helmet. Subjects were located and advised of the helmet law.

2:46 p.m.: DNR was requested to speak with some campers that were set up on a gas well site on state land.

3:52 p.m.: During a traffic stop on Mary Ann Dr in Albert Township a male from Livonia was taken into custody for driving while license suspended.

6:10 p.m.: A report of a disturbance in Albert Township was reported. MCSO Deputies responded and a verbal warning was given.

6:58 p.m.: A call was made to MCSO for a request for a welfare check on a family member in Briley Township. MCSO Deputies responded to location and found all was safe.

7:13 p.m.: Briley Township resident reported hearing gun shots around their home. MCSO Deputies responded and were unable to find or hear any gunshots.

7:14 p.m.: A report of a dog hit by car on CO RD 612. Michigan State Police responded to area and were unable to locate dog.

7:30 p.m.: A rust Township resident called to report that hunters goose hunting behind their home were shooting towards the house. Michigan DNR responded.
