Aug. 1

1:19 a.m.: Dispatch was notified of a commercial burglar alarm at the OMH clinic in Albert Township. Deputies responded and found the building to be secure.

9:37 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a verbal dispute on Co Rd 489 in Briley Township. A deputy and a trooper responded to handle the situation.

Aug. 2

12:44 a.m.: During a routine traffic stop on M-33 S near Hall Rd in Avery Township, a deputy took into custody a 56-year-old female for OWI. She was lodged.

6:20 a.m.: A MCOS deputy responded to a deer vehicle in Briley Township, report was taken and officer all clear without incident.

10:10 a.m.: A deputy responded to a commercial burglar alarm in Albert Township, company was contacted, and officer was disregarded prior to arrival.

12:15 p.m.: A one vehicle rollover was reported by the driver; no injury was reported. Deputies responded; vehicle was towed.

12:58 p.m.: An erratic driver in Briley Township was reported, an officer intercepted the vehicle, the driver was found to have had a med change and the passenger took over the driving, officer cleared without incident.

1:22 p.m.: A 2 vehicle crash was reported in Briley Township; no injuries were reported. Officers responded and took the report.

8:28 p.m.: Albert Township resident reported that a vehicle was driving past their home and harassing them. MCSO deputies responded and unable to locate subjects and the vehicle they were driving.

9:45 p.m.: Resident on Gaylanta Lake reported smelling gas while driving down Gaylanta Rd. Vienna Township Fire responded and found a valve on the well leaking. Gas company was contacted to repair the valve.

10:03 p.m.: Briley Township resident responded to a noise complaint of neighbor playing music too loud. MSCO Deputies and Michigan State Police responded subjects were advised to turn down music.

10:28 p.m.: Commercial alarm was activated at St John Lutheran Church in Hillman. Michigan State Police and MCSO Deputies responded. Units cleared false alarm.

10:32 p.m.: MSCO Deputies responded to car/deer accident on M33 north just past the DNR office. No injuries reported.

11:16 p.m.: Albert Township resident reports that there were 3 trucks tearing up Winding Rd. MSCO Deputies responded unable to locate vehicles.

11:26 p.m.: Rust Township resident reports two subjects fight in their yard. MCSO Deputies responded and were unable to locate subjects, they had left the scene prior to MSCO arrival.

11:56 p.m.: Michigan State Police and Michigan DNR completed traffic stop on M32 & Farrier Rd for possible OWI. One male was taken into custody and transported to MSCO jail.

Aug. 3

2:48 a.m.: Commercial alarm at the OMH clinic in Lewiston. MCSO Deputies responded and alarm was false.

8:18 a.m.: A neighbor dispute in Briley Township resulted in an officer responding to the scene, the problem was taken care of, deputy cleared without incident.

12:27 p.m.: The report of a 2-vehicle crash in Montmorency Township resulted in a male subject being transported to Otsego Memorial Hospital for his injuries. MCSO deputies, DNR, Tri Township Fire and EMS and Canada Creek Ranch first responders all responded to the scene.

2:06 p.m.: An Avery Township resident contacted the dispatch center to report one of his kayaks being stolen sometime during the day Saturday.

2:07 p.m.: A motorcycle, bear crash was reported; no one was injured, and the bear ran from the scene, an MCSO deputy responded along with DNR.

9:19 p.m.: Care Medical Alert Systems called with a medical alert on an Avery Township resident. Tri Township EMS responded to find it was an accidental set off.

Aug. 4

2:25 a.m.: Michigan State Police responded to a call in Oscoda County resulted in a warrant arrest from Montmorency County. One female suspect was taken into custody and is lodged in MCSO Jail.

12:22 p.m.: A deputy on routine patrol was flagged down by a stranded motorist, he assisted the motorist and cleared the scene without incident.

12:55 p.m.: A complaint was called in regarding a boat that was driving too fast and close to the shore on Clear Lake, Marine patrol responded, the boat was UTL upon their arrival.

4:16 p.m.: A domestic situation was called in by 911, deputies, MSP and the DNR all responded, subject was arrested and is lodged in MCSO jail.

6:31 p.m.: Report was made to MCSO of verbal threat on Licht Rd to a crew working in the area. MCSO Deputies responded and advised both parties to stay away from each other.

11:37 p.m.: Commercial motion detector alarm at OMH Clinic in Lewiston. Michigan State Police and MCSO Deputies responded. It was a false alarm.
