June 17

8:48 a.m.: Tri Twp. Fire Dept and deputies responded to a two-vehicle accident on Hunters Rd. No one was injured. A 35-year-old female from Atlanta was arrested for driving without security.

9:14 a.m.: A DNR officer investigated a boat that drifted onto shore at a residence on Long Lake Rd in Montmorency Township.

10 a.m.: A deputy investigated a report of animal neglect in Briley Township.

11:48 a.m.: Tri-Twp Fire and Hillman Fire responded to a possible electrical fire in the walls of a residence in Briley Township.

3:35 p.m.: MSP Troopers responded to an unwanted male at a business on State St in the Village of Hillman. The male subject left with a trespass warning.

8 p.m.: Deputies responded to Co Rd 487 near Co Rd 489 for a suspicious male staggering along the roadway. The male was returned to his home and advised to stay there.

June 18

9:16 a.m.: A deputy responded to dogs loose on Big Antler Rd in Albert Twp. A citation was issued to the owner of the dogs.

10:55 a.m.: Dispatch received a complaint of a dog loose on Mark Ave in Avery Twp. A warning was given to the owner of the dog.

11:46 During a traffic stop on M-33 in Avery Twp a 33-year-old male was taken into custody for no security.

12:57 p.m.: Owner of a residence on Pleasant Valley Rd hit a natural gas line while digging in their yard. Hillman Fire/EMS, MSP and a deputy responded. No one was injured.

4:31 p.m.: Deputies, Lewiston Fire/EMS and a DNR officer responded to a 2-vehicle accident on Co Rd 491 near Airport Rd in Albert Township. A male and a female were transported to OMH with minor injuries.

June 19

7:58 p.m.: Report of a vehicle/deer accident on County Rd 459 in Hillman Township. No injuries reported.

8:39 p.m.: Report of animals at large on Beechler Rd in Briley Township. MCSO contacted owner of animals and owner contained the animals.

June 20

12:20 a.m.: Hillman Village resident reported bear in the yard close to their home. Deputies responded and no immediate danger was present bear was gone upon deputy’s arrival.

2:13 a.m.: Albert Township resident reported dog barking in their front yard for the past two hours. Deputy responded and unable to locate dog.

5:47 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a possible intoxicated male walking on M-33 N in Briley Township. Deputies located the man and transported him home.

7:09 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a 2-vehicle collision at Freddie’s Market in Briley Township. No injuries were reported.

June 21

10:16 a.m.: While on routine patrol deputies initiated a traffic stop in Hillman Township, driver of the vehicle was found to be driving on a suspended license. Driver was taken into custody and lodged.

10:56 a.m.: An Albert Township resident called concerning erratic driving in Lewiston, deputies were advised to be on the lookout for this activity.

12:02 p.m.: An Albert Township resident came into the MCSO lobby to turn herself in on out of county warrants, subject was booked and bonded out.

12:50 p.m.: In Briley Township a deputy initiated a traffic stop, driver was found to be driving without valid insurance, driver was arrested and lodged at MCSO.

6:13 p.m.: Caller reported a horse with riding gear running down the road on County Rd 612 near Ann Arbor Rd. MCSO deputies responded, horse was detained, and the rider was found without any injuries.

6:20 p.m.: A residential alarm was reported in Vienna Township. MCSO deputies responded. Deputies cleared the home without incident.

7:58 p.m.: An Albert Township resident called to report loud music coming from the neighbor’s residence. MSP responded and requested music to be turned down.

11:22 p.m.: A complaint of a man assaulting a woman on the side of the M-33 S just south of M32 was made. MCSO responded pulled suspect vehicle over. A male and female were both questioned and denied any altercation, further investigation resulted in DWI arrest of the male.

June 22

3:00 a.m.: An Albert Township resident called to report barking dogs on 489 just south of CO RD 612. MCSO contacted owner and requested the owner to control the dogs.

10:29 a.m.: A report of an ATV accident on a trail in Briley Township resulted in a 29-year-old male being transported to the hospital to be treated for injuries. Law enforcement, Tri Township Fire and EMS all responded to the scene.

11:26 a.m.: A MCSO deputy responded to the report of animals at large in Briley Township; the owner of the animals was issued a citation.

5:47 p.m.: Briley Township resident called in cows/horses at large on Thornton Rd. Deputies responded, citation was issued, and all animals were secured.

5:50 p.m.: MSCO & MSP responded to a domestic dispute in Rust Township. One male was taken into custody.

8:31 p.m.: Briley Township resident called to report a wallet and personal items stolen out of his vehicle while dining at the Lewiston Lodge. Deputies responded to investigate. Ongoing investigation.

8:39 p.m.: Briley Township resident called to report 2005 Jeep stolen from their home. MCSO responded, after investigation vehicle was located and no charges were filed.

June 23

2:18 a.m.: Deputies initiated a traffic stop on County Rd 612 near Ann Arbor Rd resulted in one male arrest for OWI.

6:31 a.m.: MSCO deputies responded to a noise complaint in Briley Township.

9:29 a.m.: Albert Township resident reported a dog at large in their front yard. MSCO deputy responded.

1:34 p.m.: Dog bite reported in Albert Township. Owner of the dog was the victim; no further action was required.

4:50 p.m.: Commercial alarm was activated at the OMH Clinic in Lewiston. False alarm.

5:23 p.m.: MCSO responded to a domestic dispute in Albert Township. One male was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.

6:42 p.m.: Welfare check was requested on a Hillman Township resident; MSCO deputy responded and resident was found to be in good health.

7:56 p.m.: A report of a small propane tank on fire at the gravel pit off of Greasy Creek Rd was reported. Tri Township Fire responded, and fire was extinguished with no injuries reported.

9:12 p.m.: A welfare check was conducted in Briley Township. MSCO deputies responded and found that home was without power, no phone service and the residents were in good health.

10:02 p.m.: MCSO received complaint of a wallet stolen from a car at the Wind Sands Motel. MSCO deputy responded and it is an ongoing investigation.
