Dirt bikers did “considerable damage” at the Blackshire Golf Course at the Alcona/Iosco county line during the early days of June, according to Michigan State Police.

The MSP-Alpena Post is seeking the community’s assistance in identifying three people who drove dirt bikes on several golf greens, causing over $1,000 in damage and depriving the golf course of revenue while the greens are being repaired.

Information about the crime may be shared anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-JAIL. A $1,000 reward is available for information leading to an arrest.
