A private table for one at The C.I.A. (Center of Incredible Appetites) Restaurant in Alpena is decorated in honor of veterans, a tradition of owner Rebecca Showalter. The table includes a touching note of thanks to all veterans and a flag on loan from a patron, one of many veterans who are regulars at the diner. Showalter sets the tribute up for Memorial Day each year in honor of her patrons and her grandfather, a World War II veteran.
