March 11

10:19 a.m.: Dispatch received a call from an adjoining agency requesting assistance with a gas drive-off. A deputy responded but was unable to locate the vehicle.

2:20 p.m.: Dispatch received a 911 regarding a hit and run in Briley Township. The vehicle was located, and a traffic stop was initiated, subject was taken back to location of incident.

3 p.m.: An erratic driver was called in to MCSO; a deputy located vehicle and initiated a traffic stop.

11:29 p.m.: During a traffic stop in the Village of Hillman, a 66-year-old male from Hillman was arrested for operating while intoxicated.

March 12

2:45 a.m.: Deputies responded to a residential burglar alarm in Vienna Township. The residence was found to be secure.

9:24 a.m.: Dispatch received a call regarding a stolen trailer out of Hillman. A deputy responded and gathered information; incident is still under investigation.

3:06 p.m.: A local tow company reported a vehicle in the ditch in Hillman Township, a MCSO deputy responded. The driver was found to be in violation of her restricted license, she was arrested and lodged.

6:54 p.m.: Deputies transported 2 males with MCSO warrants from another jurisdiction back to MCSO. They were both lodged.

March 13

7:32 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of single-vehicle slide off on Co Rd 459 near Co Rd 624 in Hillman Township. A deputy responded and no injuries were reported. A tow truck was called to pull the vehicle out.

3:11 p.m.: A deputy advised dispatch of a vehicle in the ditch on Co Rd 624 near Angling Rd. in Hillman Township. No injury was reported, and a tow truck was called to pull the vehicle out.

5:31 p.m.: Dispatch was advised of a 2-vehicle accident on M-32 near Chatter’s BP in Briley Township. Deputies responded and no injuries were reported. A tow truck was called.

March 14

1:13 a.m.: Dispatch was advised of a suspicious situation on Culver Rd in Briley Township. A deputy responded and everything was found to be okay. A tow truck was called to pull a vehicle out of the snow bank.

7:53 p.m.: Deputies responded to a domestic dispute in progress on Hawthorn Trail in Briley Township. A 36-year-old male was taken into custody for domestic assault.

March 15

1:58 a.m.: Deputies responded to a welfare check on Oak Ave for a 76-year-old male in Albert Township.

March 16

8:31 a.m.: A concerned Briley Township resident called MCSO and asked for an officer to check his neighbor’s residence, he believed the water main may have broken as there was an excessive amount of water, deputies responded the township was called and they took care of the issue.

3:11 p.m.: A commercial business in Briley Township contacted MCSO regarding a male subject not acting appropriately; a deputy responded, the subject was removed from the store.
