Employees at Northland Area Federal Credit Union and The Lending Center took part in a fundraising effort at Alpena High School’s last home game of the season, the credit union said in a news release.

Every year, each of the 15 branches in Northeast Michigan of NAFCU takes part in Credit Union Make a Difference Day (MADD) in their communities.

The Alpena Lending Center branch held a bake sale to benefit the Athletic Department of Alpena High School in order to replace the field lighting.
