Rogers City Fall Fest returns Saturday

ROGERS CITY — Before the first leaves fall from the trees, the Rogers City Fall Fest will be back again.

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Westminster Park in downtown Rogers City.

“This is one of the last outdoor events before the warm weather is gone. It’s in a beautiful setting in an outdoor park,” said organizer Deb Stiller.

The Kiwanis Club of Rogers City along with the Kiwanis Key Club Youth Group, sponsor the Fall Fest and the event is free.

As they always do, they will have the farmers market at the front of the park, which many people look forward to, Stiller said.

There are many new vendors for the craft show, along with those who have returned, Stiller said.

Also during the event is the kid’s costume parade, which is sponsored by the 40 Mile Point Lighthouse Society.

“Kids are able to pick any kind of costume,” she said. “They do a grand parade marching through the park.”

She added there will be other activities for children to enjoy, like a bounce house.

“It’s a fun, great day for everyone to come to the beautiful park and enjoy the great food, music and activities,” Stiller said
