Nancy Hill, of the Michigan Department of Treasury, led a tax seminar for new businesses on Friday at Alpena Community College. More than 25 attendees learned about sales and use taxes, services and exemptions at the seminar. Hill is a senior analyst with the Treasury’s technical services support services division.
