Danielle Sue Carter and John Carl Lawrence exchanged their wedding vows Sept. 28, 2013 at First Church of God in Alpena. Pastor T. J. Witherell Jr. officiated the 2:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Carla Carter of Gaylord. The groom is the son of John and Cathy Lawrence of Alpena.

Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the VFW Hall in Alpena.

Both the bride and groom are employed at the Take 5 Deli. Danielle is currently attending Alpena Community College.
