Amanda Chapman and Nathan Ulch exchanged their wedding vows Aug. 17, 2013 on Wyassup Lake in North Stonington, Conn.

The bride is the daughter of Tammy Gerrish and Steven Chapman of Connecticut. The groom is the son of Lisa Mullaney and John Ulch of Alpena.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Marissa Chapman. Attending the groom as best man were his friend, Alex Lozen, and his brother, Dane Mullaney. Serving as ring bearer was Jayce Chapman, nephew of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in honor of the newlyweds at The Pavilion in Hopkinton, R.I.

Amanda is a graduate of Wheeler High School in North Stonington, Conn., and a graduate of Three Rivers Community College in Norwich, Conn. Nathan is a graduate of Alpena High School. He is employed with the United States Navy as a First Class Petty Officer aboard the USS Toledo.

The couple resides in Waterford, Conn.
