Suzanne Kathleen Kowalski and Nicholas Alan Thibault exchanged their wedding vows June 15, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alpena. Pastor Jim Erickson officiated the 1:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter Wayne and Jill Kowalski of Alpena. The groom is the son of Mark and Gayle Thibault, also of Alpena.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her friend, Jesselyn Zbytowski. Bridesmaids were Nicole Werth, Renee Prevo, Nicole Stephan and Melissa McDonald, friends of the bride, and Alisha Thibault, sister of the groom. Attending the groom as best man was his friend, Andrew Domke. Groomsmen were Nick Schellie, Jason Domke, Stephen Haibel and Rob Eskau, friends of the groom, and Evan Kowalski, brother of the bride. Ushers included Doug Kowalski, cousin of the bride, and Ryan Styma, cousin of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the APlex.

Suzanne is a 2008 graduate of Alpena High School and is currently attending Central Michigan University. She is employed by Dominion Homes. Nick is a 2004 graduate of Alpena High School and is employed as a journeyman lineman by American Electric Power. They are residing in Delaware, Ohio.
