Standen/Kraft

Maria Ann Standen and Jeremy Robert Kraft exchanged their wedding vows Oct. 6, 2012 at St. Anne Catholic Church in Alpena. Father Greg McCallum officiated the 1 p.m. double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Jeri Jo Standen of Alpena. The groom is the son of Larry and Pam Kraft of Lachine.

Attending the bride as matron of honor was her friend, Monica (Kidder) Entsminger. Serving as bridesmaids were Michelle Barnett, Juleen Morford, Jolene (Gouin) Sasena and Jennifer Straus, friends of the bride; Masie McEwen, cousin of the groom; and Jodie (Standen) Herron, cousin of the bride.

Attending the groom as best man was his friend, Adam Hardies. Groomsmen were Mark Kraft, brother of the groom; Dan Standen, brother in-law of the groom; Mike McEwen, cousin of the groom; Brandt Bahling, Nathan Splitt and Scott Wozniak, friends of the groom. Ushers were Tom Nowakowski, Ian McDonald, Chris Wirgau and C.J. Wise, friends of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the APlex. Pre-nuptial parties included a rehearsal dinner at the 19th Hole.

Maria is a graduate of Alpena High School, Alpena Community College, Kellogg Community College and Spring Arbor University. She is employed by the Catholic Community of Alpena. Jeremy is a graduate of Alpena High School, Alpena Community College and Spring Arbor University. He is employed by Alpena Biorefinery

The couple are residing in Alpena.
