The Alpena Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 2025 Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award and the Business of the Year Award.

These awards, along with many others, will be given out at the Alpena Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet on Feb. 12.

The Zonta Club of Alpena is also accepting nominations for the Woman of the Year Award. This award has been a tradition for the Zonta Club of Alpena since 1966. The purpose of this award is to honor a woman for her volunteerism in our community, and to highlight the significant impact women make in our lives. This award will be presented at the Annual Chamber Banquet as well.

The chamber is also accepting nominations for the Culture Change Agent Award and the Up and Coming Award. The deadline for all nominations is Jan. 5 at 5 p.m.

Self nominations are highly encouraged for Business of the Year, Culture Change Agent and the Up and Coming Award.
