The Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Committee is hosting the 2025 Walk Against Homelessness and Hunger on Nov. at from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Registration for the event Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Salvation Army Church located at 722 N. Second Avenue in Alpena.

Funds collected will be given to local programs providing homeless and/or hunger assistance and children and pets are welcome.
