Bob and Betty Keen of Ossineke celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on July 16. Bob Keen and Betty LaBell were married on July 16, 1955, at St. Catherine’s Church by Father Ted Lamarre.

A celebration was held at the couple’s home with their children and spouses on July 18.

Bob retired from LaFarge. Betty retired from Alcona Health Center.

The couple has four children: the late Bob (Kathy) Keen of Fort Myers, Florida; Bill (Denise) Keen of Ossineke; Beth (George) Langenburg of Big Rapids; and Brad (Wendie) Keen of Harbor Springs.

Their grandchildren are Brannon Keen, Jason Keen, Ryan Keen, Daniel Langenburg, Patrik Langenburg, Andrew Keen and Rebecca Keen. Their great-grandchild is Elizabeth May Keen.
