Joe and Julie Bushey recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Joe and Julie were married on Sept. 12, 1964, at St. Catherine’s Church in Ossineke.

Joe retired from Buick Motor Division of Flint, Mich. Julie owned and operated Bushey’s Market on Hubbard Lake and also worked for Walmart.

Joe and Julie have four children, Kenneth of Spruce, Diane of Tawas, Keith of Ossineke and DeLynn of Oscoda, and eight grandchildren.

A dinner in their honor was held at the Mountain Inn.
