Bill and Irene “Tootsie” Skoog of Hubbard Lake were married on June 5, 1954, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Detroit.

Sharing in their 60th anniversary celebration are their two daughters, Linda of Holt, and Debbie (Ron) Pettit of Ionia. They are also the grandparents of William and Eric Pettit.

Bill, a retired machinist, and Tootsie, a retired cake decorator, spend their winters in Sun City, Ariz.
