Alvin A. and Theodora M. Gapczynski of 1028 Sable St., Alpena, will celebrate their 70th anniversary on April 8, 2014.

Mr. Gapczynski and the former Theodora Parsons were married April 8, 1944 in Sioux Falls, S.D. They had four children: James Gapczynski of Ann Arbor; Jane Ann (Allen) of Florida, deceased; Nancy Ellen (Skevington) of California; and John Drew of Alpena.

The couple also have four grandchildren: Jacklynn Gapczynski of Alpena, Christopher Geary of California, Andrew Geary of California and Anthony Gapczysnki of Alpena.

Alvin is retired from Besser Company and Theodora is retired from The Drug Store.
