Warren and Marilyn Wood of 450 N. Addison, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the May 18, 2013 marriage of their grandson.

Mr. Wood and the former Marilyn Simon were married May 11, 1963 at Peace Lutheran Church in Saginaw. Their children are Warren (Shirley) Wood Jr. of Freeland, William (Bonnie) Wood of Macomb and Wesley (Shelly) Wood of Palm Coast, Fla. They have seven grandchildren: Ryan, Ashley, Jordan, Alyssa, Aaron, Amanda and Emma.

Warren is retired from General Motors Foundries and Marilyn is retired from United Parcel Service.
