Grand Lake Garage Sale Days July 25-26

The 33rd Annual Grand Lake Garage Sale Days will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26. Maps will be available after 5 p.m. on Thursday, July 24 at the Birch Hill Groceery, Grand Lake branch of the Presque Isle County Library, Sand Bay Trading, the Portage Store, and Presque Isle Harbor Clubhouse, as well as online at www.grandlakemi.org.

Birds of Prey coming to Harrisville

Birds of Prey – Live at the Library will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 31 at the Harrisville branch of the Alcona County Library, 312 W. Main St. Attendees will enjoy a thrilling visit from the Skegemog Raptor Center. Wildlife rehabilitators will share fascinating facts and introduce you to live birds of prey during this free educational program.

Perennial plant sale Aug. 2

A perennial plant sale will be held from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2 at 2851 E. Scott Road, presented by the TLC students from St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hubbard Lake.
