ALPENA — ‘Tis the season! The Besser Male Chorus proudly presents A Season of Cheer and Song gatherings over the next week.

The kickoff concert will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday at New Beginnings Ministries, 16960 N. County Road 459 in Hillman.

A matinee concert will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday at Huron Shores Fellowship, 3558 M-32 in Alpena.

The finale concert will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, 167 S. Ripley Boulevard in Alpena.

Each concert is filled with sounds of the season through voices and instruments that the members are proud to present.

As the Besser Male Chorus continues to celebrate 78 years of performance, the ranks of membership have continued to grow. Several people are experiencing their first performance season as well as many seasoned members dating back to over 65 years in membership. The unique mix throughout the chorus generates a rich quality through each performance.

The community is invited to come and celebrate the season through music. All concerts are by donation only.
