Powerlifting meet Sunday at Zen Fitness

ALPENA — Zen Fitness will host its sixth annual powerlifting meet, starting at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

The public is welcome to attend. Participants can show up and exhibit their skills at no charge. Participants should arrive between 9 and 9:30 a.m.

Zen Fitness is located at 2581 U.S.-23 North in Alpena.

ALPENA — The Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan is accepting grant applications for its Northeast Michigan Youth Advisory Council grant. The deadline to apply is Oct. 15.
