GMDA Thursday

Join the Alpena Area Chamber of Commerce on Thursday for a fun, interactive Good Mid-Day Alpena Lunch at the Alpena County Regional Airport Terminal.

Lunch starts at 11:30 a.m. with the program beginning at noon. The cost is $10 per person and registration is required in advance to info@alpenachamber.com or 989-354-4181.

Bridge club results

Alpena Duplicate Bridge Club results for this week have been announced.

Gayle Nowak and Audrey Stevens came in first this week. Ron Young and Kan Kane were in second, and Beverley Rousseau and Marcy Sherman came in third.

The club meets at 12:30 p.m. on Mondays. Interested bridge players may contact 989-595-5119 or 989-354-2306.

Euchre tourney Aug. 20 in Hillman

Hillman Senior Center will host a Euchre tournament on Saturday, Aug. 20.

A meal will be served at 5 p.m., and play starts at 6 p.m. There is a $20 entry fee. Prizes and food will be provided.
