Pepsi honored Alpena High School sophomore Lillian Wood as the winner of their state-wide logo design contest for “Purple Up for Military Families.” It is a program that supports and acknowledges the sacrifices of military families.

Wood’s design will be the logo used by Pepsi as their T-shirt program launches. She received a gift bag and an Amazon gift card from Pepsi for her efforts.

Wood is a student of Amanda Pilarski, the Alpena High School digital media teacher. She used the knowledge and equipment from the program to design her winning logo submission. Wood said, “My inspiration was to honor the kids of military families.”
