ASO members to perform two December concerts
Members of the Alpena Symphony Orchestra will perform two “serenade” concerts in December.
The “Holiday Serenade” concert will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the First United Methodist Church of Alpena, 167 Ripley Blvd.
The second performance will be the “Christmas Serenade” concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 12, at Hope Lutheran Church, 5462 W. Nicholson Hill Road, Hubbard Lake.
Both events will feature a variety of festive, holiday-appropriate music performed by members of or musicians connected to the ASO. These musicians will perform as soloists or in duos or in a small-ensemble format.
The ASO stands committed to providing best-loved music of the season for the enjoyment of the community.
These concerts are offered free of charge. Donations are always appreciated and the ASO is a nonprofit organization. Masks are recommended but not required at these performances. A reception will follow each concert.
