CTE students give away desks for online learners

Courtesy Photo Career and Technical Education students at Alpena High School have been busy building desks to give to Alpena elementary students learning through APS Online. Students also assembled learning totes and chairs to give to the 26 lucky students. More than 80 families participated in the random drawing and those chosen were delighted to get a new study area for their home on Thursday. Chairs and school supplies were purchased from the generous donations from business and individuals in the community. Squeals of delight and lots of jumping around by the recipients signaled that the project was a success!
