Friends Together fun day at Dinosaur Gardens

Friends Together will host a family fun day for all families coping with cancer who have children — young or old. This is a day to celebrate together with other families also affected by a cancer diagnosis.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23, at Dinosaur Gardens, 11160 U.S. 23 South in Ossineke.

To obtain your free wristbands, call Friends Together at 989-356-3231. The wristband includes entry to the park to walk through and view the 27 life-sized dinosaurs, and a round of mini golf. There will also be lunch from noon to 2 p.m. and prizes throughout the event.

Gift shop items, miners sluice and fossil dig are available at an additional cost. For more information, call Dinosaur Gardens at 989-471-5477.
