The regular meeting of the MOC Ladies Auxiliary met on Tuesday, July 21. Seven members were in attendance. After roll call and payment of fines, minutes were read and the treasurer’s report was given. An audit took place before the meeting. The audit report was read by 1st Year Trustee Margaret Piontkowski and approved as read.

Committee reports were given. Scholarship Chairman Barb LaMay read a letter from the recipient of our nursing scholarship. Her name is Kayla Dickinson and she said the scholarship she received helped her to finish her second year in the nursing program. When completed she will be a nurse practitioner.

Right now the Auxiliary is not volunteering at Medilodge due to the high risk.

Motions were made to donate to the Sunrise Mission and a Love Gift for the Auxiliary’s outgoing Grand President.

New dues cards are in. This is a reminder to all members that soon it will be time to pay dues for the 2021-2022 term.

The MOC Ladies Auxiliary is always looking for new members. Anyone in good standing with the VFW Auxiliary is eligible to join. The group needs you.

The Auxiliary was notified that the annual district meeting, called “Scratch,” has been approved for the end of September. The local Post 2496 will be the hosting auxiliary.

President Roxann Buchler declared the meeting closed with next month’s meeting falling on Aug. 18. At that meeting the Auxiliary will undergo inspection by the Grand President.
