Friends Together is hosting an online bidding auction, which began at noon on Tuesday and runs through noon on June 2.

This is the cancer support center’s first online auction through Bidding Owl.

“We have designed this to be a fun, user-friendly opportunity for everyone to participate in from home,” organizers said in a press release.

All you need is an online device and all details can be found by going to biddingowl.com/FriendsTogether. Using the web browser Chrome is recommended. This link can be put into a web browser or it can be found on our Facebook page and at www.friendstogethermi.org. Click on Menu/Register in the top right corner and follow the short registration prompts.

To receive text message notifications, enter your phone number and country under account details. This enables you to receive text messages when you’ve been outbid or won an item.

The final step is to confirm your email address by going to your email and clicking on the link.

Friends Together invites your friends and family to do the same.

“While our office is closed, we are busy working from home and have created this new fun way to fundraise,” organizers said. “We have some really cool auction items.”

Friends Together is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that helps people that have been affected by cancer in Alpena, Alcona, Presque Isle, Montmorency, Oscoda and Iosco counties.
