Shoe Year’s Day Hike will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at Besser Natural Area, Rockport State Recreation Area.

Start off 2020 on the right foot with a hike. Join the Friends of Rockport/Besser Natural Area to hike the beautiful trails at Besser Natural Area. Bring snow shoes, cross country skis or if there’s no snow, hiking shoes. A bonfire and free refreshments will be provided.

Besser Natural Area is located in Presque Isle, five miles from U.S.-23 North on Grand Lake Road. Continue east on Grand Lake Road at the Rayburn Highway intersection. BNA is on right before Bell Bay Road.
