The Alpena Garden Club met on Dec. 9 at First United Methodist Church for a Christmas party. A delicious luncheon was provided by Country Apple Catering.

The afternoon was a busy one, with the group playing games and singing carols accompanied by member Suelyn Bartz on piano.

Elizabeth Littler has been in the club the longest. The club thanked her.

The afternoon concluded with gifts for all. Serving on the committee were Elizabeth Wright, Jeanette Vrenderburg, Elizabeth Littler, Sally Krajniak, Bernie Klimaszewski, Jan Hopkins, Dee Law and Pat Lacomb.

The club does not meet in January.
