Music at the Mill is Friday at Brush Creek Mill in Hillman, with musician sign-up at 6:30 p.m. and music at 7 p.m.

activity night Friday

The Boys and Girls Club of Alpena presents activity night from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at 601 River St.

This is a free event for all junior high and high school students, and non-members are welcome to attend.

Free Pizza Hut pizza will be served. Activities include dodgeball, basketball, board games and more.

Museum needs volunteers

Besser Museum for Northeast Michigan is seeking volunteers who would like to help fold and stuff newsletters. Anyone who has an hour or two to spare to help would be appreciated. If interested, please call the museum at 989-356-2202.

Computer class Monday

A computer class, Working Smarter Using Google Suite: Docs and Sheets, is from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Alpena County Library, for $5 per person. Register by calling 989-356-6188, ext. 14.

A financial workshop, An Investor’s Tour of Mutual Funds, will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Edward Jones, 123 E. Chisholm St.

Harvest Run/Walk Sat.

A Harvest Run/Walk to benefit Immanuel Lutheran School is Saturday, with a 1 Mile run/walk at 9 a.m., and a 5K run/walk at 9:30 a.m. Start and finish for both races are at Immanuel Lutheran School, 355 Wilson St., Alpena.

T-shirts are provided by Thrivent Financial. Registration and pre-registration pick-up times are 5 to 7 p.m. Friday or 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. race day at Immanuel Lutheran School. The cost is $25 per person.
