Final events for Summer Book Club at library

The Alpena County Library is sponsoring Mat Emerick Clowning and Juggling from 10-11 a.m. today as part of its Summer Book Club.

As a reminder, the reading log and reporting deadline is Aug. 5 at 11:59 p.m.

Summer Book Club wraps up Tuesday with Carnival Day from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the APlex.

Ladies FOE Auxilary holds monthly meeting

The Alpena Ladies FOE Auxiliary #1241 met recently with President Barb Newhouse presiding. Auditor Deb Whitus reported that all teh books were in order. Cathy Knechtel was appointed on the interviewing committee.

The first reading of bylaw changes were read.

Drapping of trhe charter was held for Georgena Dilts, who was a member for 35 years.
