NEMAG’s Really Big Art Sale Saturday
In conjunction with Besser Museum for Northeast Michigan’s Log Cabin Day, the Northeast Michigan Artists Guild (NEMAG) is hosting their Really Big Art Sale beginning on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Besser Museum. The sale includes a wide selection of quality artwork created by local artists, available at affordable prices.
This year’s Really Big Art Sale will be open through Sept. 23.
NEMAG is proud to call the Besser Museum its home. The group’s art sale is a way to share artistic talent from the area with the community and to help by donating a portion of the proceeds from this event back to Besser Museum.
“Celebrations,” this year’s annual NEMAG exhibit, will be on display simultaneously with the Really Big Art Sale through Sept. 23.
Visitors are asked to vote for their favorite piece in the NEMAG exhibit, and the People’s Choice Award will be announced at 1 p.m. on Log Cabin Day.
NEMAG’s mission is to promote and support art and artists through inspiration, information and education in our community and to support local artists through exhibits and shows, as well as to encourage novice artists. Artists in NEMAG range from raw beginners to very advanced. New members are welcome.
