TBT rummage sale Sat.

Thunder Bay Theatre will hold a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, featuring costumes, props and other items no longer being used by the theater.

The theater is located at 400 N. Second Ave. in downtown Alpena.

Trap, Neuter & Return class Saturday at library

A Trap, Neuter & Return class will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the second floor conference room of Alpena County Library.

The cost is $7 for first-time attendees. There is no charge for prior attendees with TNR cards. No registration necessary.

Euchre tournament for Plaza Pool on Saturday

Friends of Plaza Pool will host a Euchre Tournament Fundraiser on the third Saturday of each month, with doors opening at 5 p.m., and the tournament starting at 6 p.m., at the APlex.

Cost is $20 per person, with cash prizes to be determined by the number of participants, at a 60% payout.

There will be food, a cash bar, 50/50 drawing, and $1 pool for the person with the high game.

Relay For Life auction Saturday at Eagles Club

Relay For Life of Northeast Michigan will hold an auction from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday.

The event will be at Alpena Eagles Club, 1960 M-32, with a bucket raffle from 5 to 7 p.m. and live auction at 7 p.m., and heavy hors d’oeuvres.

Older Americans lunch Sunday at senior center

Alpena Senior Citizens Center is hosting Older Americans Celebration Lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, featuring a presentation of the “Outstanding Older Citizens of the Year” and acknowledgments of those 100 and older.

Suggested donation is $3.50 for those 60 and older, and cost of $7 for those under age 60.

Art in Loft class Sunday

Creative Companions, instructed by Jennie Handrich of Jennie’s Cake Creation, is a child and adult combo class for ages 4 and up, from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Art in the Loft.

The Friends of the Grand Lake Library will hold their 14th Annual Geranium Sale Friday and Saturday, May 24-25.

This is a prepaid order only sale. Plants are $4.50 each. Pick-up will be from 10 a.m. to noon both days at Garrity Hall at New Lighthouse Park in Presque Isle.
