MOPS of Alpena is gearing up for its Mom 2 Mom Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at Word of Life Baptist Church, 1900 North Bagley St. in Alpena.

Admission is a $2 per person and strollers are welcome. Admission includes a raffle ticket for a chance to win a door prize from one of the sale sponsors.

This popular event is a specialized, high-quality group yard, vendor and bake sale. Gently used baby, children, and maternity clothing, along with toys, books, videos, bedding, and baby essentials will fill up to 40 tables and racks.

Proceeds from table rentals, a bake sale and admission will support Alpena MOPS, a safe, loving community where moms gather to make connections, be encouraged, share experiences, develop friendships and take a break from the demands of mothering. Every mom is offered support and learns Biblical principles pertaining to womanhood, parenting, and marriage. Through customized speakers, crafts, play dates, moms nights out and service opportunities, MOPS grow moms to make a better world.
