Caitlin Borke of Alpena was named Miss Sunrise Side 2018 on Oct. 20 at Alcona High School. The daughter of Ron and Lynn Borke, she studies music at Western Michigan University.

First runner-up went to Melissa Curtis, second runner-up was Emily Hansen, and third runner-up was Emily Birgy.

Marissa Carson was crowned Miss Sunrise Side’s Outstanding Teen. The daughter of Darlene Carson of Highland, she attends Brighton High School.

In the teen contest, first runner-up went to Rylie Dewely, second runner-up was Stephanie Kosmalski, and third runner-up was Elly LeCursi.
