Thunder Bay Arts Council Chorus, founded in 1987, will begin weekly fall rehearsals on Sept. 17 at 7 p.m. at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 201 S. Second.

The annual fall workshop will occur there as well on Sept. 29 from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

All adult, high school and college-age student singers are invited and may obtain fall music now at the Alpena County Library or at the first three fall rehearsals.

A very active fall season is planned under the direction of Pam Barkel of Presque Isle. Along with accompanist Amy Truth of Alpena, the chorus will participate in the annual Alpena Peace Concert on Oct. 7 and present two festive holiday concerts on Nov. 30 at Lost Lake Woods Club in Lincoln and Dec. 2 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alpena.

Both holiday concerts will include seasonal music emphasizing the theme, “Radiance and Resonance.”
